Lionsgate is a leading global filmed entertainment studio and a major producer and distributor of motion pictures, home entertainment, television programming, and video on demand and digitally delivered content and is at the forefront of driving growth from digital platforms. Lionsgate is currently recruiting a well-presented Receptionist who is able to provide a highly professional first class front of house service, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our reception desk. The ideal candidate will be motivated, passionate and inspired by the film industry with the ability to stay calm under pressure, highly organised, eagerness to learn and confidence to liaise at all levels. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience within a similar position and absolute discretion is paramount to this role.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 

  • Meeting and greeting clients with a welcoming, professional and confident manner, providing extremely high standards of customer service to both clients and colleagues
  • Managing the reception switchboard, to ensure the phones are answered in a polite manner, both internally and externally, taking messages for absent people and processing promptly
  • Managing and organising the boardroom time table, five boardrooms, booking meeting rooms and rearranging/ expanding boardroom spaces
  • Making teas and coffees when requested and organising boardroom refreshments as necessary
  • Ensuring the reception area is maintained to a high standard and the desk area kept clean/ all paper/magazines are neatly displayed and kept up to date.
  • Light Cleaning and maintenance of the boardrooms and the small kitchen
  • Management of office facilities
  • Filing and general office and admin duties – sending email updates, informing staff about all general office info
  • Supporting with general admin duties, such as the staff newsletter
  • Ad hoc projects – here is also the opportunity to expand the role to include other general administrative tasks

 

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

  • Ideally able to demonstrate proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, hands-on experience with office equipment
  • Customer service orientated; professional at all times, working to a high standard
  • Highly articulate with excellent communication skills and phone manner
  • Professionally attitude and appearance, well presented at all times
  • Polite and courteous, ability to be innovative when dealing with a wide range to people and situations, under a pressured environment
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to work independently while using discretion, ensure that confidentiality and sensitive issues are dealt with in co-ordination with the HR Executive
  • Ability to work collaboratively and use initiative
  • Self-motivated, team player with a flexible attitude
